Our Story
We started Wildreach with one simple belief: peace of mind shouldn't be complicated, expensive, or an afterthought.
Every year, thousands of ordinary moments - a winter drive home, a hike that runs longer than planned, a storm that knocks the power out - turn into situations nobody saw coming. Not because people weren't careful. Because being prepared for the unexpected has always felt like something reserved for "serious" survivalists, not for regular people just trying to look out for the ones they love.
We didn't think that was right.
So we built Wildreach around a different idea: preparedness should be simple enough that anyone can do it, small enough to fit into the life you already live, and affordable enough that it's never a hard decision.
Our first product, the ThermalGuard Emergency Bivvy, came from asking one question: what's the one thing that would actually matter if something went wrong? Not a hundred-item kit. Not gear that needs a manual. Just the single piece of equipment that addresses the most common - and most overlooked - danger in an emergency: losing body heat when you need it most.
We didn't want to sell fear. We wanted to solve a real gap.
That's still what drives us today. We're not trying to convince you the world is more dangerous than it is. We're just here to make sure that if the moment ever comes - a breakdown on a cold road, an unplanned night outdoors, a storm that lasts longer than expected - you're not caught without the one thing that could have made all the difference.
It's not about living in fear of what might happen.
It's about having the confidence that comes from being just a little more ready than you were yesterday.
